About Joan M. Walsh

Joan M. Walsh was born and raised in Ireland and attended the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. She now lives on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts where she enjoys the abundant inspiration of the island. She illustrated The Secret by Merrily Fenner and Just About the Right Size by Patricia de Koven. Her art appears in The Wampanoag Genealogical History of Martha’s Vineyard and her painting of the Flying Horses Carousel in Oak Bluffs is a popular print.
